Jeanie’s passion for health coaching came after having a successful practice as a Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist in Roanoke, Virginia from 1999 - 2017. She realized her greatest passion was not just helping people learn to love healthy food and realize the healing power of whole foods, but the change process. “When a client truly connects to their personal vision and sees the value of making the necessary changes to have a healthier life, they become unstoppable. It is this connecting to who we are, individually, that gives us the strength to overcome our health challenges.”
In 2010 - 2011 she went through the Duke Integrative Medicine Integrative Health Coach Professional Training Program and became certified as an Integrative Health Coach.
Jeanie recently became the first group of health and wellness coaches to pass the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is honored to be part of a group of amazing people who share her passion and commitment to help people embrace their true self and enjoy the life they want through health and wellness.
She and her husband, Ken, have embraced organic gardening, vegetarian eating and a whole foods lifestyle for four decades. As a mother of five healthy student athletes who all played Division I college sports, good nutrition and discovering your passion have always been her north star.
She loves writing, making pottery, cycling, yoga, long walks on the beach, kayaking, hiking and spending time with her grandchildren.
